Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal for a temporary assignment supporting a busy plaintiff-side law firm. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing personal injury cases from intake through settlement, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage personal injury cases from intake through resolution.
  • Obtain and review medical records, bills, and supporting documentation.
  • Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and attorneys.
  • Draft correspondence, demands, and legal documents.
  • Maintain case files, calendars, and deadlines.
  • Assist with settlement negotiations and case preparation.
  • Track treatment status and case progression.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of personal injury paralegal experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of pre-litigation and/or litigation processes.
  • Experience obtaining and summarizing medical records and bills.
  • Strong client service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
  • Experience with plaintiff personal injury matters.
  • Familiarity with case management systems such as Needles, Clio, SmartAdvocate, or Litify.
